With reference to our Notice No. 20130416-6, MFIs/MFDs/RIAs are hereby informed that proof for ‘source of funds’ is required for complying with the applicable regulations of FEMA or RBI for all subscription transactions initiated or executed by Non-Resident Indian Investors on BSE StAR MF platform.
Further, please find below the two options provided by ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited (IPAMC) through which non-resident investor can provide the proof for ‘source of funds’ for subscription transactions done in the schemes of ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund through BSE StAR MF platform.
1. Non-resident Investor can declare the ‘source of funds’ online by clicking on the below link for faster resolution.

OR
2. Non-resident Investor can sign attached ‘source of funds’ declaration form which is available on the website of IPAMC and submit it at CAMS Centre or at the official point for acceptance of transactions (OPAT) of IPAMC.
MFIs/MFDs/RIAs are hereby advised to email the soft copies of ‘source of funds’ declaration form and dispatch the original form as per details provided below to avoid rejection or delay in payment of redemption payout to the non-resident investor’s registered bank account for non-submission of proof regarding ‘source of funds’.
